Fourth Grade took a break from state testing, Tuesday afternoon, to complete a reading and language Easter egg hunt activity.

Class of 2026 - Mike Wagner Memorial Scholarship and Warren Wagner Memorial Scholarship are available and due April 17. The Warren Wagner Scholarship will give special consideration to someone pursuing a degree in Agriculture. The scholarships have been emailed to all Seniors, are available on the school website under Scholarships or in folders outside of the counselor's office.

The 3rd graders are learning about the plant lifecycle this week. They are dying carnations and watching soybeans germinating.

Mrs. Dolen's class finished learning all of their lowercase and uppercase cursive letters, and celebrated with a cursive graduation today!

Due to testing next week at the Elementary School, we are starting the JH/HS Solo and Ensemble Recital on March 31, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the HS Auditorium. Performers may report to the Band Room at 6:10 to warm-up and we will begin our performances in the auditorium at 6:30. Please come see all of the talents these students possess.

The North Greene School district has invited our parents and community members to attend a presentation from FBI Special Agent Jake Griffin titled "Protecting Our Youth in the Digital Age". Class of 2026 - Illinois Retired Teachers Association Foundation Scholarship is available for those wanting to become a teacher. Due date is May 1. All Seniors have been emailed this link. It is also available under Scholarships on the school website or can be accessed here:

Class of 2026 - The George P. Hunt Scholarship is really a loan for students pursuing a degree in engineering or the medical field. There is not a due date, but the loan must be approved by the Greenfield Board of Education. The application has been emailed to all Seniors, is available on the school website under Scholarships and is available in the folders outside of the counselor's office.
